We are currently looking for vibrant Commercial Cookery Trainers to join our dynamic team.

Employment will be offered for fixed-term contracts with negotiable work hours. 

Candidates must be dedicated, professional, positive, dynamic, hardworking, passionate people who love working with a diverse international team. Must possess medium level IT skills as we are a paperless campus with IT platforms as a core function in our business operations.

Previous experience working as a VET cookery trainer would be advantageous.

Advantages: 

• A Valid TAE40110/6 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• A Valid VET qualification to deliver the relevant course - Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Recent industry currency & vocational experience in the qualification you will teach.
• Work experience as a Chef for at least 5 years.

Key selection criteria: 

• Facilitation of training and assessment. 
• Moderation and assessment of academic materials.
• Teaching experience in VET industry. 
• Monitoring of student academic progress, attendance and performance.
• Maintaining records of student outcomes. 
• Strong communication and organizational skills. 
• Knowledge and skills in academic compliance to ensure high quality training practices.
• Medium level computer and technological skills, ideally experienced with eLearning and cloud platforms.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• High regard for sustainable operations, environmental and social awareness.
• Work well with a multicultural international team, clients and stakeholders.
• Very strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.

Envirotech will consider candidates with limited teaching experience who wish to change their career and have the will to become a cookery trainer.
