Position: Teacher Assistant
Start date: To commence in Term 2 2021
Completion Date: 3 December 2021
Hours per week: 27.5HPW
Classification: School Officer Level 2
Hourly Rate: $27.46 - $28.13 (pending experience)

St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School aims to develop the ‘whole’ child - intellectually, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. This is achieved through developing a child-centred atmosphere of genuine care and support and permeates a learning environment that nurtures and values each individual student.

Opened in January 2015, St Brendan’s offers state of the art facilities designed to promote learning and embrace our local environment. Our classrooms have been created to ensure students and teachers have the resources and space they require on their learning journey.

About the role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons as a Teacher Assistant.

This is a term time contract position (27.5 HPW) commencing in Term 2 2021 until 3 December 2021.

About you

The successful applicant will hold a Certificate III or IV in Education Support and must have appropriate experience working with students and an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
In addition, you will have excellent time management skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.

Mandatory Requirements

A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
