Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Follow and be familiar with the NSW Curriculum (for school aged students) 
• Implement strategies to cater to the student's needs (think outside of the box and implement non-traditional teaching methods - get creative) 
• Aid students with English related materials as well as school and homework needs 
• Ensure students progress is logged, as well as identifying key areas of improvement through progress reports 
• Provide supplementary homework and or class-related aid 
• For non-school students, ensure that one is familiar with IELTS teaching as well as matured aged students
•  Prepare materials for each class, relating to what stage of the curriculum they are in (school aged) or to what extent they are at with learning English (mature aged) 

Qualifications and Experience:

• English qualified teachers (preferably English and ESL) looking for extra work outside of their jobs
• Individuals with IELTS teaching qualifications and or prior experience with teaching English to adults 
• University students studying a teaching degree will be considered and encouraged to apply (high priority to those focusing on English) 
• Must understand that students may have special needs and or learning difficulties, thus applicants with prior experience in such teaching settings will be highly regarded (learning support teacher)
