About the role
Salary:
Level 7: $97,381- $105,395 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Level 8: $108,856- $122,649 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Employment Term: Fixed Term until March 2022
Employment Hours: Part-time (0.8 FTE)
Location: Canberra, Australia
UNSW Canberra delivers university services to the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) under a unique partnership between the Department of Defence and UNSW. The Learning and Teaching Group (LTG) within UNSW Canberra delivers support services for learning and teaching to academic staff and students at UNSW Canberra. LTG consists of five key areas, one of which is the Mathematics and Physics Student Support Program. This role will work within Mathematics and Physics disciplines to support positive learning outcomes and academic success through Mathematics and Physics remedial support.
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role you:
Will be passionate about assisting students to reach academic success.
Have had experience creating and administering a variety of programs within Mathematics and Physics support on varying platforms.
Can develop and maintain teaching material at the Year 11/12 level with a focus on continual improvement.
Are willing to learn or have experience with programming languages Matlab or Python.
