Amazon Web Services Training and Certification looking for Education Programs Region leads for the APAC region. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team leading AWS Education Programs growth and region penetration efforts, by ensuring that internal and external stakeholders and targeted cloud learners benefit from our Education Programs offering within your assigned region. You will own relationships with regional target audiences and business stakeholders, and with global program leads on issues such as regional education requirements, customer support, and program delivery issues. You will also contribute to the development of education programs, processes and tools to address regional business requirements in collaboration with teams across AWS T&C Education Programs. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding business judgment, analytical thinking, business development skills, and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment and has proven experience in diplomatically developing and implementing long-term stakeholder relationships at the country, region, and global level. Exceptional communication, solution-oriented thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and collaborative relationship-building are essential attributes to succeed in this role.

In this position you will:
· Represent all AWS T&C Education Programs to internal and external customers and stakeholders in your assigned region.
· Develop and maintain key relationships with region and country stakeholders including country managers, government agencies and associations, education program customers, and local T&C teams.
· Work with global external stakeholders to develop strategies for tackling regional and country issues for local delivery of AWS T&C Education Programs.
· Represent and champion regional audience Education needs to global program leaders and internal stakeholders.
· Own, prioritize, and drive localization and internationalization and accessibility priorities for Education Program deliverables within assigned region.
· Develop international and region-specific deployment recommendations to improve both reactive and proactive reach of our target audiences and grow Education Program adoption within your assigned region, maximize automation and efficiency in resolving issues and identify and achieve measurable goals.
· Work closely across AWS T&C teams on processes and tools to simplify Education Program visibility with customers, stakeholders, and partners.
· Partner with Global Education Programs and with Customer Support to resolve critical and time-sensitive escalations through root cause analysis and quick response.
· Liaise with internal T&C business teams to address regional concerns.
· Take part in conferences and external meetings focused on Education Program concerns within your region. This will eventually include frequent regional and global travel (~25%).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of technical content learning and education program development and management experience
· 5+ years’ experience representing global programs in a fast paced, complex, technical education environment
· AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
· Bachelor’s degree in education or technology or equivalent industry experience
· Ability to travel up to 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree in education or business studies
· Project Management Professional certification
· Adult learner technical content development experience
· Young learner STEM content development experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong critical thinker.
