The Opportunity

We are seeking Cert III qualified experienced and Bus Driver to join the team on a permanent part time basis at Springbank Rise by Busy Bees. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of children to and from homes and schools.

Major Responsibilities

Be aware of and adhere to the current traffic / road rules
Display flexibility and adaptability
Have a full understanding of and adhere to the regulations with regard to transporting children
Clean the bus as directed
Provide high quality customer service to the service's clients
Use effective time management to ensure that children are delivered on time and picked up on time
Communicate regularly with the Service Manager regarding occurrences on the bus
Ensure that the courtesy bus sign in sheets are completed and kept up to date at all times
Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times: i.e.: seat belts, booster seats
Conduct weekly bus inspections
Have a mature and responsible attitude
May be required to work during vacation care
Prompt Service Manager when services are required (i.e. every 10,000 km's)
Act as an ambassador for the Service when in public, ensuring that professional behavior and appearance is maintained

As the first point of contact for parents, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly is essential.

Qualifications & Your experience

Previous experience as a Bus Driver
Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management
National Police Clearance Certificate
Current Working with Children Card
Have held a current C Class Driver's license for at least 12 months
