  • Full time, term role for a period up to 30 June 2023

About the role
This role is a critical member of the leadership team responsible for the delivery of educational outcomes that align with the Department?s strategy and put students and young people at the centre of all our decision making. 

The role leads and develops tactical plans and initiatives to implement a change strategy in response to the new dynamics created by COVID 19, in order to deliver efficient, cost effective and customer focused workplaces State-wide for NSW Education corporate staff. It works within NSW Education policy and guidelines to support workplace services and accommodation requirements, including the provision of capital works, maintenance and security services.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who: 

  • Champions the Education values
  • Holds a valid Working with Children Check (WWC) clearance
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management in a large complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department?s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department?s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
