An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Teacher with a flexible teaching approach to work on the Adult Migrant English Program at the Palmerston campus for 2 nights a week.

The Position
Delivering all aspects of accredited training and assessment, your responsibilities will include:

Assist with the development, design & implementation of the training program
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure desired client numbers, attendance targets & training delivery hours are achieved
Provide flexible learning delivery, adapting resources & delivery methods to meet the needs & goals of clients
Participate in agreed community and / or cultural activities, functions & meetings

The Successful Applicant

Minimum of a recognised undergraduate degree of at least three years duration
Post graduate TESOL qualification in Adult Education is preferred
Bachelor of Education with TESOL Major or equivalent, that includes a practicum
Either a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma or higher in Adult Education is desirable
Demonstrated knowledge & expertise in the achievement of client learning outcomes & high level of client participation, retention & completion rates
Effective & flexible facilitation & engagement style that delivers positive outcomes across disadvantaged & culturally diverse clients
