Continuing, full time appointment (2 opportunities available)
Professional Level 5 Salary, $66,274 - $76,564 pa
Plus 17% super & 6 weeks leave
Casuarina Campus, Northern Territory

Provide direction and guidance to students leading to academic success, and support student engagement and retention initiatives.

As a Retention and Progression Officer, you are responsible for the early engagement and intervention of students identified as having a high risk of academic failure or early withdrawal from their units. You will use a variety of multimedia platforms to promote CDU support services available to students and provide guidance to students through administrative processes, and to develop, implement, monitor and review learning management plans in consultation with students and relevant academic staff.

Additionally, you will implement a range of student engagement activities that promote and support student retention and encourage progression to further studies.

Completion of a relevant degree Certificate IV in Business (or a related area) and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will support your application as will the proven ability to demonstrate highly-developed communication skills to effectively and sensitively consult with a wide range of individuals while maintaining strict confidentiality.
