Create innovative online training resources and deliver engaging and effective training and demonstrations.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

CDU’s learning technologies are broadly captured under the Learnline brand, which encompasses the Learning Management System (LMS) - Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate, streaming media services and other discrete applications. As Learnline Training Specialist, you will provide valuable training to academic and professional staff in the application of Learnline across higher education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET).

A skilful and enthusiastic communicator, you will confidently conduct training and demonstrations to engage with teaching staff to extend their digital capabilities and display a talent for creating engaging online training resources. Prior experience working with Learning Management Systems, (ideally Blackboard Learn) is preferred, and experience working with H5P or similar, and web conferencing platforms such as Blackboard Collaborate and Microsoft Teams will support your application.

To be successful, you will hold a relevant degree level qualification and extensive experience in training and support of learning technologies, or an equivalent combination of education/training and relevant experience.
