Salary: $60-65,000 p.a + 9.5% Super

Our Centre at Waverley Gardens has a strongly established team and a very strong director. The centre is growing from strength to strength and it is an exciting time to be involved. This purpose-built centre is now looking for an early childhood teacher to join the team. You will be supported by a strong Centre Director and a wonderful team.

You will hold:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
• Minimum 12 months experience in an early childhood setting would be an advantage
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
• Current Working with Children Check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead a classroom environment
• Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF

Your Role:

• Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children.
• You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines.
• Work as a lead educator to provide creative learning experiences.
• You will have extensive knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understand of the NQF/NQS and work in compliance
• with all regulations to meet the high standards.
• Networking with relevant stakeholders in the local community.
• Provide a comprehensive transition to school program
