Faculty of Business and Law

The Faculty of Business and Law comprises of Curtin Law School and Curtin Business School. We are located in the city of Perth, with our main campus in Bentley and our Curtin Law School and Graduate facilities conveniently located in the Central Business District.

The role

As the Special Projects Coordinator, you will support the Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor in the development, coordination and implementation of a variety of Faculty-wide strategic projects. This will include facilitating activities and projects associated with the Faculty Sustainability, Gender and Diversity; Student Equity; and Indigenous Working Groups.

You will…

Provide strategic project management support to progress initiatives within the Deputy PVC portfolio.
Manage project lifecycles including initiation, implementation, evaluation methods and communication strategies.
Undertake project research and analysis, including assessment of project impacts and risks.
Maintain effective partnerships with project stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between areas.
Extract analyse and present information in formats appropriate to the audience.

Completion of a relevant degree and considerable relevant experience.
Strong project management skills with experience implementing project plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity.
Effective written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks with attention to accuracy and detail within deadlines.
