About You

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research & Innovation ((ADVC, R&I), you will work with research leaders, partners in the Research and Innovation (R&I) portfolio, the R&I Business Partner and the ADVC (R&I) to develop and maintain programs and initiatives that build research capability and research leadership capabilities for academics within the College of Business and Law.

You will also provide advisory regarding quality assurance, quality improvement and support business research benchmarking.

To be successful in this position, you'll have, among others:
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering professional development programs for researchers, preferably in a university environment.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and achieving goals and outcomes through collaboration, negotiation, and influence, the ability to provide high level advice, and a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed skills in project management in a research environment, with the ability to develop, plan, implement and monitor multiple projects simultaneously to timelines and ensuring high quality outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member, and contribute to the development and achievement of team goals.
Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
