Purpose of Position

Our Learning & Development team is expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Traineeship Advisors to deliver nationally recognised qualifications within GYG’s BRAND NEW training academy, the School of Guac.

The role:

Reporting to the Learning & Development manager, your primary focus will be delivering GYG's brand new traineeship program within 'The School of Guac' accross the country. You will play an integral part in promoting the energy and enthusiasm associated with GYG to our crew and franchisees.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting all training and assessments of trainees in line with AQTF standards
  • Ensuring compliance with RTO requirements while managing trainee contracts, visit monitoring and reporting, and completing face-to-face visits and sign ups.
  • All forms of traineeship administration, including enrolment, monitoring of tasks, conducting traineeship reviews
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships across the GYG network and with external stakeholders while building the GYG brand
  • Supporting the L&D team on exciting upcoming project.

About you:

You will be experienced in training and assessment delivery, ideally in a franchise environment. You will have a passion for people development and training, and a drive to work in a fast-paced company with great energy and passion. You will also be excited by building rapport with key stakeholders, have strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously.

To be successful in this role you should have/be:

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (Tertiary qualification in adult education or related preferred)
  • Certificate III and IV Hospitality
  • Have a minimum of of two years' experience in a learning and development role, ideally in a multi-site environment.
  • Hands on experience in a quick service environment

Desirable experience:

  • Diploma in Leadership
  • Experience in a QSR/hospitality environment
  • LMS administration experience
  • Experienced in designing, delivering and evaluating innovative blended learning solutions
  • Experience in coordination of learning programs and workshop/classroom facilitation.
