Alliance Francaise d’Adélaïde is looking for a motivated and passionate French as a Foreign Language Teacher.

Our school aims to provide high quality education care for adults and young learners. We are looking for an applicant who will bring his/her expertise to teach adults and young learners between 20 and 25 hours a week from Monday to Saturday Morning. We have morning, afternoon and evening classes (until 8.30pm).

Applicants must be organised, rigorous and display good communication skills. This position may include course co-ordination and staff management responsibilities in the future.

Essential Criteria

• Master's degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language (or equivalent)
• DELF/DALF examiner certification would be an advantage but not essential
• Ethnic Schools Association South Australia Teacher Accreditation would be an advantage.
• French Native speaker preferred
• Have significant experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language to adults and young learners
• Ability to develop, implement, teach, monitor and adjust specific course content for unique projects and groups including cultural activities.
• Ability to activate a strong local community network for the benefit of the student’s experience.
• Be available to teach in the day, evenings and Saturday mornings
• Good communication skills, willingness to work within a team and display initiative and enthusiasm for the job
