Exciting opportunity to be a part of International Admissions for the University

Student Administration is located within the Division of Academic and Student Engagement and is responsible for supporting the University's strategic objectives through the delivery of efficient and responsive student services and administrative functions. The Student Administration portfolio in addition to Admission Operations spans the student lifecycle from Coursework Scholarships, Enrolments and Student Systems, Timetabling, Graduations, Examinations and Results.

Working under general direction, the Senior Admissions Officer (Operations) will support operational delivery of International admissions entry and application related matters within their designated region for the University of Adelaide. The Senior Admissions Officer (Operations) will liaise with International Student Recruitment, Faculties and Schools, division business units and our third party providers to ensure the implementation and sustainability of robust and efficient processes and procedures for the selection and admission of international students. A core responsibility will be the day to day oversight and supervision of their direct reports. The Senior Admissions Officer (Operations) will work with the Associate Director of Admission Operations and the other Senior Admissions Officer to drive business improvement, resource efficiency and technology enhancement.

To Be Successful You Will Need

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of international admissions including problem solving skills and proficiency in resolving complex admission assessment matters.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the legislative and policy frameworks underpinning compliance, quality and equity in international admissions.
  • Demonstrated supervision experience and ability to lead a cohesive team to achieve quality customer service and timely business outcomes.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and establishing positive work relationships with internal and external staff to achieve business outcomes.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to provide engaging presentations and produce high quality reports and training materials for a broad audience.
