PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR/ ENTERTAINER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nutty Scientists is a leading global provider of interactive science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs for children.

We are looking for enthusiastic Nutty Professors (program instructors/entertainers) to run science-related programs and activities for children between the ages of 3 and 16.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Coordination, planning and delivery of Nutty Scientists Melbourne activities/ workshops at birthday parties, after-school and school holiday programs

• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude with parents and kids

This job is suitable for someone who:

• Is fun and outgoing

• Has previous experience with kids in a formal (paid or volunteer) setting

• Confident to take a leadership role and entertain children

• Able to work on weekends and/or weekdays on a casual basis

• Can work independently and in a team

• Owns a car and a valid driver’s license

• Is 18+ years of age. Able to attend mandatory training and orientation

• Has or will apply for working with children check certificate

• Has a Theatre and/or Science background. It is desirable but not necessary

• Is available to travel to deliver programs at different locations across Melbourne Metro region.
