About the Centre/Service Lady Forster Kindergarten is a community-managed, not for profit 49-place service located on the foreshore of Elwood Beach offering 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten Programs (Sessional and Extended Hours), Occasional Care and Holiday Programs. We are a busy service providing nature-based programs including an established beach curriculum.
Work Days of the Role Monday to Friday
Hours of Work of the Role Casual relief up to 20 hours per week and more
Description We are seeking to build our casual pool of educators to cover staff absences/leave, together with other temporary gaps in our staffing team through 2021 with the possibility of permanent work in the future. We would love to hear from you if you:
are an enthusiastic educator with a passion for nature and sustainability,
have availability and flexibility through 2021 and beyond
have a Certificate III qualification, at minimum
are seeking casual work/temporary workWe expect to have a significant number of casual working hours available for the right candidate(s) at above Award rates but ideally will require flexibility to work shifts across our operating hours of Mon-Fri, 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. As relief/emergency cover will be involved, the casual work may best suit candidates located near to our Elwood site.
Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate III qualification
Current Working With Children Check
Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting Module certificate
Current First Aid Certificate; Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR training
Sound knowledge of education frameworks
Requirements WWCC
Industrial Agreement/Award Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2016 (VECTEA)
