Full Job Description
We are seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our casual pool of relief employees in the following positions.

Early Childhood Educators (Kindergartens)

Remuneration based on EEEA classification

Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum Certificate lll in Children’s Services from an approved training organisation as approved by ACECQA.
A current level ll first aid qualification, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma.
Demonstrated experience working with children and families.
Experience in assisting in the development and implementation of an educational program.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this impacts on daily practice.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication with children, staff and the wider community.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.
Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
Current working with Children Check.

Early Childhood Teachers (Kindergartens)

Remuneration based on EEEA classification

Mandatory Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Children’s Services (must hold a recognised two year childcare qualification under the current Education and Care Services laws and regulations and Department of Education and Training Funding Service Agreement).
A current level ll first aid qualification, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma.
A current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate a quality educational program.
Demonstrated experience in communicating to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated organisational, planning and prioritising skills to ensure the efficient delivery of outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to adopt an innovative, flexible approach to the provision of children’s services.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff, families and the community.
Demonstrated understanding of the child safe standards.
Ability to identify health and safety issues pertaining to the work environment.
Current working with Children Check.

Early Childhood Educators - Assistants (Occasional Care Program)

$38.67 per hour (plus 9.5% Superannuation)

Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum Certificate lll in Children’s Services from an approved training organisation as approved by ACECQA.
Demonstrated experience working with children and families.
Experience in assisting in the development and implementation of an educational program.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this impacts on daily practice.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication with children, staff and the wider community.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.
Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
Current First Aid (HLTAID004 Education and Care settings), including annual CPR update (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current anaphylaxis training and certification (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current asthma training and certification (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current working with Children Check.

Early Childhood Educators - Diploma Trained (Occasional Care Program)

$42.36 per hour (plus 9.5% Superannuation)

Mandatory Requirements:
Diploma in Children’s Services (must hold a recognised two year child care qualification under the current Children’s Services Regulations and the DET Funding and Service Agreement).
Demonstrated experience working with children and families.
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate a quality child care program.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this impacts on daily practice.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication with children, staff and the wider community.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.
Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
Current First Aid (HLTAID004 Education and Care setting), including annual CPR update (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current anaphylaxis training and certification (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current asthma training and certification (or ability to undertake before start date).
Current working with Children Check.
