Opportunity to lead and provide eResearch programs and services for research staff, students and the wider University community.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As eResearch Librarian, you will provide leadership, direction and expert technical services across the research lifecycle, including research data management and data curation, information discovery, visualization, research computing and scholarly communications. In addition, you will also facilitate researchers’ access to research related systems, software, training and assistance.

Knowledge of data management plans and grant requirements, open access concepts, copyright and licences and scholarly communication principles will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated high level analytical, research and writing skills to effectively synthesise relevant information and data to produce high-quality reports and correspondence will further strengthen your application.

Education / training / work experience equivalent to a degree in a relevant field with significant experience in research, library and information management or information technology is a requirement for this position.
