Job Description

Foreign Teachers have about 20 teaching hours per week with students aged five to thirteen. Classes are on weekends and Wednesday afternoons (3 work days per week), with extra classes held in both the Summer and Winter school holidays. Textbooks are used in every class, and assistance with lesson planning is readily available.

Each class has a Chinese teacher who will be present during your lessons to assist with monitoring student behaviour and translating instructions to students when necessary.

Requirements

Successful applicants will:

• Speak English at an idiomatic level
• Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
• Be enthusiastic about working with students
• Have two years teaching experience OR a 120-Hour TEFL/TESOL Certificate (or be willing to obtain a TEFL/TESOL Certificate prior to commencing the visa application process)

• ¥click apply per month (up to ¥240 per hour depending on teaching experience)
• ¥3000 per month for living expenses (on top of salary)
• Compensation for taxis taken from home to work (and vice versa)
