Astra Early Learning, Narre Warren South is a brand new purpose built centre due to open later this month.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bachelor Qualified Kindergarten Teacher for our Kindergarten Room. 

Our Centre philosophy is based on the Reggio Emilia approach and we believe in providing an environment that is full of natural materials, is open ended, sparks wonder and curiosity and supports project based learning.

About You:

We are in search of an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher who:

• Has the ability to work as part of team 
• Has strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Has the ability to develop strong relationships with children and families 
• Mentor and support junior staff and students 
• Contribute to the development of the quality improvement plan 
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of NQS and EYLF 
• Develop and evaluate an age appropriate program 
• Embed the Reggio Emilia philosophy into daily practice

Successful candidates must hold:

-A relevant 3 or 4 year Degree in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA. -VIT registration 

-Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis
