This well established centre in the outter suburbs of Geelong is seeking an experienced Diploma trained Director to join the centre. This centre provides great staff: child ratios, excellent funding and resources, and enticing staff benefits.

The position would be Directing a 116 place long day care centre, open 7:00am – 6:30pm, and catering for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Your role would include overseeing all aspects of the centre - daily routines, staffing, ratios, policies, regulations; rostering; staff management; parent relationships; working in conjunction/reporting directly into the owners; implement policies and procedures; attend staff meetings where required; ensure the centre is providing the highest quality care.

The ideal candidate will:

Hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma of Childrens services
Hold a current First Aid Certificate
Ideally be experienced as a centre manager
Be confident with leading and mentoring staff
Be experienced handling parent enquiries and conducting tours/orientations
Be experienced writing and implementing policies and procedures
Have a solid understanding of the EYLF
Have a solid understanding of new VICTORIAN regulations/legislation
Be looking to commit to a role long term
