The Opportunity

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports a range of medium-scale refurbishments and external projects involving services infrastructure, landscaping and civil works, ensuring they are completed on-time, within budget parameters and in line with University compliance standards and legislation.

The Project Coordinator works closely with stakeholders, consultants, surveyors and contractors to ensure that essential projects are provided on the best and most favourable terms available to the University. The major focus of the position is upon innovative, efficient and cost-effective design and construction, and refurbishments that completely fulfil stakeholder expectations and needs.

About you!

As the successful candidate you will have a post graduate degree or be working towards a post graduate degree within a construction industry related discipline as well as extensive working experience.

You'll possess project management experience with a proven record of successfully managing all aspects of small-to-medium scale projects through to completion.

You'll have proven experience in working autonomously in a construction environment, including the ability to manage tendering processes, preparing and negotiating contracts and understanding relevant documentation to ensure construction standards are met.
