Your Role

The Deputy Principal will play a vital role in improving the educational outcomes of students throughout both schools as well as supporting, developing and leading quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A strong Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) background.
  • Experience collaboratively leading and developing whole school PBL systems.
  • A strong knowledge of Trauma Informed Practices.

In addition to the key responsibilities listed on the Role description, as the successful applicant, your duties may include:
  • Managing staff and resources effectively and collaboratively.
  • Contributing to strategic planning for both schools.
  • Inspiring and motivating staff to be leaders of learning and encouraging innovation and collaboration in professional practice.
  • Contributing to the leadership of a Student Learning and Wellbeing Framework.
  • Leading processes and systems to contribute to complex Case Management - Wellbeing / Behavioural.
