About Our Centre:

  • Goodstart Hassal Grove are a 55 Licenced Service has been open for more than 20 years, with generations of families using the service. This has allowed us to develop lasting relationships with local schools as well as the Aboriginal Elders in the local area. Operating hours are from 7am – 6pm
  • Our families come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and we embed culture into all aspects of the curriculum. At Goodstart Hassall Grove individuality is celebrated! We support families to access services such as the Learning Support Program and we work with SDN Children’s Services to include children with autism.
  • Our dedicated educators have been at the centre for many years, with an average of 10 years for most and all are qualified with Certificate 3, Diploma or Degree of Early Childhood Education and trained in first aid. Our educators come from diverse cultural backgrounds and we have educators who speak Hindi and Spanish.
  • The centre is proudly part of the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) program, offering children and families services through speech pathologists and helping to meet the broader needs of children and families in our community. The centre’s approach is an all-of-community one, working within the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) framework. The centre actively involves families, educators and the wider community in shaping the learning environment through continuous reviews of their current practices and programs.

About you/The role:

  • Permanent part time, 15hrs/wk 
  • Hold a Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA recognised equivalent qualification
  • Hold or willing to obtain a NSW Working with Childrens Clearance
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and national Quality Standard
  • Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
  • Passionate Educators who are driven by their desire to provide quality learning experiences
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
  • Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual
