We are seeking a combined Bus Driver/Groundsperson to join our College Grounds Staff.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe transportation of our students and staff to and from the College using designated routes, as well as groundskeeping, garden maintenance, lawn and edge upkeep, repair of equipment and general cleaning.

As a driver, you must be professional and well presented and work competently within a team environment, and display a positive attitude. This combined position requires good communication skills and a positive nature.


  • Current Qld MR Licence or above
  • Drivers Authority
  • Minimum 3 years bus driving experience
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission buses

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 5 days/wk (38 hours/wk) - Monday to Friday
Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: Services Staff Level 3 - $29.05 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
