About The Centre

SDN Children's Services will commence management of House at Pooh Corner, a 72 place centre located on campus at the University of NSW in January 2021. The centre has long attracted a high number of international families which has provided children the opportunity to make friends from all around the world as well as to gain experiences of different cultures and languages. Children overlook the village green and have access to explore the grounds of the university as well as indoor and outdoor play spaces designed to stimulate play, exploration and imagination.

About The Role

To provide effective, inclusive and respectful customer service and to provide efficient, accurate and timely administration and support to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full time permanent role and can be part- time for the right person.

About You

  • Effective relationship building and interpersonal skills with a customer orientated focus
  • Previous administrative experience, desirably in a child care or community setting
  • Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
  • Knowledge of child care rebates and processes to assist families with payment of fees (desirable)
  • Demonstrated administration, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Demonstrated numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-developed computer skills, Qikkids experience (desirable) and accounting/finance system knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
