Our active and professional Neutral Bay-based family is searching for an experienced, reliable, nurturing, creative, organised, and fun nanny to assist in the care of the baby. It is also essential that the nanny possess initiative and strong experience working with children of all ages, especially babies.
The nanny will focus all of their care on the baby e.g. feeding, playing age-appropriate activities, cuddling, nappy changes, and put down for naps. During the day and whilst the baby is napping, the nanny should be comfortable performing light household tasks including organising, tidying, and meal preparation for the family.
The family has an indoor cat and ideally, the nanny will be comfortable feeding the cat and changing its litter.
The successful nanny will be provided with a beautiful work environment, flexibility, and a lovely family who value open communication.
Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Building a strong relationship with the children
- Organising and planning fun, creative, and engaging activities/outings
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment, completing light household duties
- Meal preparation for the children
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children
To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license and own car preferred
- A minimum of 5 + years experience working with children full-time in Australia
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- A minimum of 2 Australian based child-related references
- Excellent communication skills
