About us

Established in 1993, Vital Resus Australia specialise in the sales, technical service and training of emergency and medical systems. Vital Resus Australia is a RTO (Registered Training Organisation) providing a comprehensive curriculum of medical based programs.

Building on our existing state-wide customer base and business expansion plans, we are seeking to employ a RTO Co-ordinator with strong clinical training experience and skills to work from our Head Office at Warners Bay, NSW.

We are looking for a someone with experience in delivering clinical training programs, someone that wants to expand their knowledge and expertise as a trainer, grow professionally as we continue to develop the RTO division of our company.

The Role

We are seeking a highly driven individual to manage the day to day operations of our RTO. Initially this will involve:

· Coordinating, development and delivery of the training material.

· Managing the client and training database

· Liaising with accrediting bodies

· Managing the scheduling and delivery of the training courses

As you assist to develop and grow the business you will have the opportunity to progress within the company and expand the role accordingly. This will involve recruiting and management of trainers and staff as you build the RTO business ensuring all training operations are conducted in line with compliance and legislative requirements.

It will be critical that you identify and manage business relationships with external stakeholders as well as play an active role within the Vital Resus Australia management group.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise the daily operations of the RTO and deal with any student or management issues that may arise

· Oversee the smooth delivery of all training and assessment including management of the training calendar and all training resources

· Monitor and coordinate the preparation and running of training courses

· Resolve, action and prepare reports on all training and RTO matters that may arise

· Ensure all training is conducted in line with all compliance and legislative requirements

· Ensure there are sufficient human resources (trainers and admin staff) for the delivery of the training courses

· Maintain strong business relationships that are aligned with the strategy of VRA and support program growth

· Drive the performance of the team across all RTO Operations including RTO budget management

· Be an active member of Vital Resus Australia team and represent the organisation in a professional manner to external stakeholders

Key Selection Criteria

· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)

· Experience coordinating training programs for an RTO

· Based in or around Newcastle, NSW

· Knowledge of training packages and assessment requirements

· Previous experience coordinating VET in Schools and Traineeship programs

· Demonstrated ability to work with diverse clientele

· Ability to build relationships with a customer focused approach

· Highly developed time management and organisational skills

· Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service

· High-level administration skills

· Current drivers licence
