The Centre:

Our Client is an innovative Early Learning Centre who are embarking on a journey to redefine the future of early learning through the emphasis on speech and communications, healthy food, caring and an active lifestyle. With programs such as dancing, language, sports and yoga, they offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn to their full potential. In addition, they grow their own organic fruit and vegetables, as this forms part of the children's understanding of food and its origin!

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a full-time Early Childhood Teacher for the Toddler room of our wonderful centre in Frenchs Forest. You will be a co-educator, working alongside and collaborating with the Centre Manager, who also teaches in this room.

Your role will require you to:

  • Establish, nurture and foster collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children,
  • Establish, nurture and foster strong relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes,
  • Ensure daily communication to families about their child’s day – communication diary, emails etc.,
  • Partake in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning,
  • Ensure the inclusion and equality of all cultures and backgrounds at your centre,
  • Engage in shared, sustained interactions with children which build warm, trusting relationships,
  • Complete curriculum planning sheets and reflections to ensure the curriculum decision-making process is fully and appropriately implemented,
  • The full planning cycle must be evident on a continual basis

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the Early Childhood Education setting
  • ACECQA Approved Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Strong level of verbal and written communication
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and NQS/NQF
  • Current approved First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
