Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. Located in Lane Cove, Sydney, Cammeraigal Country, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.
The College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated teacher of Years 7-10 Science in a part-time (0.6FTE), temporary position to commence Term 2, 2021 till the end of Term 4, 2021. Applications are invited from both experienced teachers and early career teachers.
The successful applicant will:
- hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be eligible to teach in NSW
- be an outstanding classroom teacher of Junior Science (Years 7 - 10)
- demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
- be committed to continuous improvement and professional development
- demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
- be willing to contribute to the Co-curriculum Program at the College
- hold a current Working With Children Check
