About the Role
LiveBetter Child & Youth Services have a reputation for empowering their communities and providing supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environments. Glenroi Preschool provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
Glenroi Preschool is a well-resourced, not for profit, early childhood centre, based in Orange NSW. As a Diploma trained Educator you will be an integral part of a team of passionate staff who are committed to providing high quality early childhood education and care.
The preschool remains a community owned service- however is now managed and supported by LiveBetter - Child and Family Services. An experienced early childhood sector specialist supports and mentors the team of staff at the preschool to achieve the best outcomes for children and families who attend the service.
This includes:
- Developing strong relationships with children at the service.
- Assisting in implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation.
- Contributing toward continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.
- Attending Professional Development opportunities and Pre-School Meeting during Term Break or when advised by Management.
The role also has further responsibilities as outlined by the National Quality Framework.

- Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.
- Current Statement of Attainment for the course ‘Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk’ CHCPRT001
- Sound verbal and written communication skills allowing you to build and maintain relationships with children, staff, families and the community.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
