An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Marketing and Communications Officer to join the team.

The International Marketing and Communications Officer will coordinate, review and create marketing material to represent our faculty to international partners, prospective international students, agents and existing international students.

About the role:

  • Supporting development and updating of international promotional materials, including course guides and partnership brochures; video content; external presentations and ecommunications
  • Supporting the faculty’s international recruitment activities, with particular focus on conversion activity
  • Content creation and ongoing maintenance of the FEIT International website and intranet
  • Synthesising and keeping up to date relevant business development information, and international market intelligence, via desktop research and stakeholder engagement
  • Additional project duties may be assigned to the role depending on new projects where appropriate


With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following five (5) key selection criteria points below:

1. Strong writing and editing skills: previous experience in creating ‘good news’ stories and customer testimonies is desired as well as experience in creating and updating content on websites
2. Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and detail, whilst frequently working under pressure and quickly respond to many ad hoc requests while maintaining excellent work presentation
3. Proven ability to build relationships and positive rapport with a range of stakeholders
4. Basic knowledge in creating and processing pictures and video material
5. Completion of a Marketing Communications qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

Remuneration

Base Salary: $71,774 to $82,110 pa (HEW 5) (pro-rated)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (3-4 days per week/0.6-0.8 FTE) and appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis until end of 2021. The amount of days per week is flexible to accommodate the right candidate.
