Full Job Description
The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of allied, public and occupational health disciplines.

ECU is currently seeking an experienced academic for an ongoing teaching focused position. This position offers excellent opportunities for an experienced lecturer to further develop their academic career and to make a real difference supporting the learning and skills development of undergraduate Medical and Biomedical Science students.

In this position you will be a member of the Medical and Biomedical Science academic team and will be responsible for coordination and delivery of units with the subject matter of Medical Biochemistry and Developmental Biology at undergraduate level. These units are taught within the two undergraduate courses - Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science).

Completion of a PhD is highly desirable, though completion of Master’s degree in a relevant discipline would be considered. You will have relevant teaching and/or research experience and therefor the requisite knowledge, skills and experience to be able to coordinate teaching units that cover the subjects of Medical Biochemistry and Developmental Biology. A demonstrated ability to and experience in the coordination, development and teaching of units is essential.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, part-time 40% FTE role will attract remuneration of $90,957 - $97,389 (Level A) or $102,253 to $120,814 (Lecturer ALEVB) paid on a pro-rata basis, plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
