Full-Time, Fixed Term (24 Months) 

The successful candidate will form part of a state-wide team to deliver the Government’s recent $81.6m commitment to increase the availability of outside school hours care (OSHC) services for children and families.

The role is fixed term for two years and will play a key role working directly with schools communities, third party OSHC providers, regional staff and other key stakeholders at the local community level to ensure there is access to high quality OSHC services in school communities that do not currently have OSHC. 

The role is a two year fixed term role supporting the implementation of the Outside School Hours Establishment Grants Initiative, an $81.6m Government commitment to increase the availability of before and after school care in up to 400 government schools state-wide offering primary aged education. As a member of a regional team the role will:

  • Ensure school communities and key stakeholders are aware of the Establishment Grants Initiative, its objectives, delivery timeframes and benefits.
  • Work closely with the central OSHC Establishment Grants team located in the Youth Participation Unit SRS.
  • Facilitate briefings and training sessions for schools and third party providers.
  • Be a point of contact in the region for further information and advice.
  • Support schools work though the grants application process.
  • Increase visibility of availability of OSHC services.
  • Respond to and liaise with key stakeholders.
