Amana Living Training Institute (ALTI) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a division of leading WA aged care organisation Amana Living Inc. We have delivered quality accredited and non-accredited training to thousands of Western Australians over the past two decades. ALTI has been providing training since 1998, and Amana Living has served the community since 1962.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
To coordinate all enrolment related activities including marketing and business development and provide a high level of customer service to Amana Living Training Institute’s external clients in order to meet enrolment targets under the guidance of Business Manager.

The Training Consultant plays an active role in maintaining Amana Living’s Philosophy of Care and in living the 3Rs culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to client enquires via phone, email and in person
Provide excellent customer service, advice, guidance and support to B2B clients/students regarding Amana Living Training Institute’s Training services
Assist with marketing, business development, brand awareness and social media presence in cooperation with marketing department
Analyse market trends, monitor competition and follow current development
Find prospective customers and new target segments
Building rapport and relationships for repeat business
Develop training proposals/service level agreements for external providers as required
Conduct training needs analysis for clients as required
Assist with the purchase of training aids and resource allocations
Facilitate the processing of invoices and book training courses for corporate clients
Provide monthly progress reports to your Manager
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and document them in the Continuous Improvement Register
Maintain training records to ensure compliance with current “Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015”
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
Maintain client confidentiality at all times
Other duties as directed by your Manager.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Meet the enrolment targets set by your Manager
Accurate data entry
Provide accurate information to clients
Ensure correct eligibility requirements for students especially under the government funded programs
Maintain hard and soft copy records according to the record management policy

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Experience with RTO Compliance
Experience in a similar role
Broad knowledge of educational theory, including knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
Degree or equivalent in Training/HR or related discipline
Cert IV in TAE
Aged Care experience
National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months)
Successful completion of pre-medical form and reference checks
Current ‘c’ class drivers licence and a fully insured and registered personal motor vehicle

COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIOURS:
Sound knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
Demonstrated experience and understanding of working within the current Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015
High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and be responsive to change
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities successfully in a high stress environment.
Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs analysis, design capability frameworks and develop training programs
