About the position

You will be supporting the Deputy Headmaster/Head of Senior School in providing both strategic and day to day leadership of pastoral care and student wellbeing in the Senior School. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a positive culture that demonstrates our values of truth, respect & service throughout the Senior School.
  • Leading a team of pastoral care leaders (Heads of House).
  • Monitoring the pastoral needs of students in years 7 – 12.
  • Managing student behaviour matters in a timely and effective manner.

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Developed skills in inspiring, leading, and guiding people.
  • An awareness of the central role wellbeing plays in enabling people to reach their highest potential.
  • The ability to communicate sensitively and confidently with staff, students, and parents.
  • A commitment to the ethos of an independent Anglican school.
  • Experience in a leadership position within a Senior School and be an outstanding Teacher.
