Salary: $57,943 to $62,474 per annum

Duties

Provide assistance to the Child and Family Centre (CFC) team with operational and administrative tasks and support the learning, health and wellbeing of children and their families who attend the CFC.

Hours per fortnight

22 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this role is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer The following pre-employment checks are to be conducted:

Conviction checks in the following conviction areas:
Crimes of Violence; and

Sex Related Offences; and

Serious Drug Offences; and

Crimes Involving Dishonesty; and

Serious Traffic Offences.

Disciplinary action in previous employment.

The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment. • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).

Desirable Requirements

Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in child care, community service, health and/or education support.
