About the opportunity

St Brendan’s Early Learning Centre is a modern, purpose built preschool for children aged 3-5 years. We are expanding our team and looking for a Permanent Part-time Early Childhood Educator, working 30 hours per week. This is a term-time contract.

This role involves supporting and contributing to the program while relieving other educators from face to face teaching, during school terms only.

The successful applicants will have:

  • A certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Experience working in Children Services
  • Must have an understanding of, and demonstrated experience, in regards to the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • A current Working with Children Clearance, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and Identify and Respond training
  • The ability to build respectful relationships with fellow educators, families, children and other professionals
  • Be available between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Mon-Fri
  • Agree to be a Responsible Person in Charge
