St Hilda’s School is owned by the Diocese of Brisbane and the School Council is appointed by the Archbishop in Council. The major functions of the School Council are the appointment of the School Principal, the fixing of the annual budget and the fixing of school policy. The Principal, in the role of Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the day-to-day running of the School. All staff are responsible for carrying out their duties.

As a Casual Learn-to-Swim Instructor, you will be required to assist with lessons on various days and times including after school from 3.15pm-5.15pm as well as Saturday mornings from 7.30am. An AUSTSWIM or ASCTA qualification, current CPR/First Aid, Lifeguard training, experience teaching unsupervised, and experience teaching children with disabilities an advantage. A flexible approach to working hours will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must hold a Blue Card or have applied for one to be job ready at time of application, and have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register and be able to support the Anglican ethos of the St Hilda’s School.
