Head of Professional Innovation and Practice
This is a new role as Danebank transitions to a refreshed structure within the overall Pre-K to 12 school. Beginning in Term 3, 2021 or with a negotiated start date, the Head of Professional Innovation and Practice is a key leadership position at Danebank, working collaboratively with a range of teams across the school. Working strategically and closely with the Principal and the Executive, the Head of Professional Innovation and Practice will be an outstanding educator with a capacity to build strong relationships, implement initiatives and ensure embedded improvement practices.

Responsible for the development of the Danebank Student Graduate profile, the Head of Professional Innovation and Practice will be an experienced leader of initiatives with an understanding of contemporary learning frameworks. With a strong interest in girls’ education, the successful candidate will hold relevant education qualifications, be an agile thinker, adept at communication and able to manage change and continuous improvement.
Key Selection Criteria

Proven capacity to shape culture and to foster an authentic commitment to the Christian mission and values of Danebank
Progressive-thinking and innovative educator able to lead all aspects of the learning and development of staff (teaching and operational) and leaders at Danebank
Strong, proven ability to think and plan strategically, delivering key strategic projects across a whole school, supporting a collaborative and integrated approach with teaching, learning and caring frameworks
Promote and enable best practice in an evidence-based, research-driven pedagogy in the learning environments
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills able to lead and engage teams, students and the community
