Approved by the French Education Ministry and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), the Lycée Condorcet, French School of Sydney (LCS) is looking for an Education Project Coordinator for a permanent role starting as soon as possible.

About the role

Under the authority of the Deputy Principal, your main responsibility as an Education Project Coordinator (EPC) is to ensure the academic achievement and wellbeing of students at school. You will be expected to participate in defining the educational policy (including the evaluation process), which is part of the School project. As a member of the Educative team, you must contribute and implement rules of school life to students.

  • School Educational Policy

  • Contribute in developing and putting in place the School Educational Policy based on the objectives of the School Educational policy

  • Make sure that Educational policy is focusing on the wellbeing and achievement of our students

  • Support students in the learning process to become a good citizen, to understand their rights and responsibilities, which apply to the school life

  • Students supervision

  • Ensure a pedagogical and educational individual and collective students follow up 

  • Participate in class councils, provide data regarding absences, and ensure the follow up of any sanction given to students 

  • Be responsible to build trust relationships with parents or legal representatives of students, and with the teaching staff

  • Welfare student department Management

  • Take ownership of performance management and staff evaluation 

  • Ensure a correct level of staff, including daily roster with the assistance of Human Resources. If necessary assist the team in the supervision of students

  • Establish process and policies for the welfare student department

About the ideal candidate

  • Fluency in French and English 

  • 3 years’ experience minimum in a similar position 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational, multitasking and time-management skills 

  • Hands-on experience with office, IT equipment and school management software (EDT, PRONOTE, EDUKA…)
