A well-established Register Training Organisation in Mount Gambier is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Monitor the RTO’s compliance with the VET Quality Framework
• Maintain up to date knowledge on the regulator requirements
• Plan, Schedule conduct: Internal audits/ Training product reviews/ Assessment Validations
• Maintain Trainer’s Qualifications register
• Conduct student file audits
• Develop and review and maintain relevant policies and procedures
• Manage the RTO scope of registration
• Assist with data reports including Vet activity reporting
• Report on weekly activities

Experience, knowledge and skills:

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is essential
• Previous experience working in a compliance role for an RTO
• Strong knowledge and understanding of ASQA and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with demonstrated strong time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Prepared to undergo Police Check

Conditions:

• The position is Part-time. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required to complete the core components of the role, with the opportunity for additional hours depending on the applicant’s additional skills. The hours are flexible and can work around applicants personal commitments.
