Overview:

This position will work closely with the MAX Solutions Training team on Project Canvas, will be supported by a supervisor and allocated a MAX Solutions Buddy. Interns will be engaged in various activities to strengthen their professional experience which may support their learning outcomes as part of university/TAFE competency requirements. The role is aimed at supporting people completing their qualifications to obtain relevant on the job learning as part of the requirement for achieving their degree and or qualification. An intern at MAX Solutions is deemed a volunteer. No payment or allowances will be made for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the production of learning and assessment products that comply with the Standards for RTOs 2015 (under guidance)
Work collaboratively with the Resource Development Coordinator and other key stakeholders to develop learning and assessment resources that are in line with the Standards for RTOs 2015
Assist in developing engaging content to support the RTOs online training and assessment delivery models
Work to apply best practice adult learning and instructional design principles to learning and assessment resources ensuring a student-centred approach
Upload content to the LMS under the direction and supervision of the Resource Development Coordinator
Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses immediately

Required Experience

Conducting specific and relevant research
Using and implementing online systems
Producing visually appealing documents

Qualifications/Requirements - Mandatory

The intern should be either undertaking business or administration of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related discipline
At least 18 years of age
A tertiary student or recent graduate in a relevant discipline at University or TAFE
Eligible to volunteer in Australia (if you hold a visa, you may still be able to volunteer)

Our induction and training will provide you an understanding of these principles, including having an understanding of children’s developmental needs and culturally safe practices.
