About the role

We are seeking a passionate and diploma qualified educator to join our Lake Munmorah Early Learning Centre to assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team in providing high quality care and education for children. This is a permanent full-time position.


  • Assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team to plan, document, implement and evaluate the program;
  • This role may be required to undertake the role of Responsible Person in Charge;
  • Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children;
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with families;
  • As well as other duties specified in the attached position description.

Skills & experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Diploma Qualifications and relevant experience in Early Childhood Education;
  • Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis, First Aid, CPR Certificate;
  • Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk;
  • Previous experience with young children;
  • Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework;
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.
