Position Summary
At Northern Health, we take care of the residents of Melbourne’s north, by providing a diverse range of health services, at Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Craigieburn Centre and Bundoora Centre. We also collaborate with our partners to help expand the range of healthcare services offered to our culturally rich and diverse community.
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Nurse Educator to undertake the role of Education Project Officer - EN/Refresher /Workforce responsible for the Enrolled Nurse Graduate, Refresher Programs and Workforce Upskilling activity within Northern Health 2021
This role is a part time, fixed term position at 48 hours per fortnight.
Education Project Officer - EN/Refresher/Workforce Role and Responsibilities:
· Do you want to make a difference in the preparation support and evaluation of two exciting new education programs?
· Utilise your expertise in the development, delivery, evaluation and support of Enrolled and Registered nurses entering/re-entering the workforce.
· Provide education support in the upskilling and capability for NH workforce
About you:
· Experience and good working knowledge of acute/critical care sector nursing practice, training and education models
· Current education experience
· Proven ability to work within a team and emulate the Northern Health values
· Project work desirable but not essential
· A passion for education and training support for all levels of nursing learners
