First Intervention is a registered training organisation, based in Tullamarine, that delivers specific HLT qualifications including high-level First Aid units & CPR. We deliver our qualifications with a blend of online live, training sessions, and face-to-face assessment sessions of practical skills and knowledge. Our trainers and assessors are provided with the flexibility to combine working on-site and remotely.


We are seeking an experienced and customer service-orientated trainer and assessor who is dedicated to the delivery of high-quality health care training packages.

We require a trainer/assessor for the delivery of nationally accredited courses ranging from HLTAID003 Provide First Aid to HLT51015 Diploma in Paramedical science

To be successful in this position you will have as a minimum:

1. TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE); or TAE40110 in Training and Assessment with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 units; or a willingness to complete within three months of appointment.

2. Vocational experience as a PTO/Healthcare provider

3. Experience training online using Zoom, Moodle LMS, and classroom-based training

4. Working with Children Check (Current)

5. Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)

6. Valid Driver's Licence

7. Team orientated nature and excellent communication skills

8. Satisfactory level of computer literacy

9. Well organised and skilled in communicating with people

10.Excellent time management skills and a willingness to be part of a growing team

11. Professional communication skills that meet the needs of different learner cohorts

12. Ability to maintain industry currency and attend professional development as required
