About you:

  • Previous working experience in a Human Resources or Training administration role, within in a fast-paced business environment where you have been involved in large-scale recruitment and selection including recruitment documentation co-ordination, medical and aptitude assessment data entry and co-ordination, reference checking, co-ordination of applications, etcemployee induction and onboarding
  • Excellent HR administration skills 
  • Experience using HRIMS and LMS are highly desirable
  • Some working knowledge of training and development industry and practices is desirable
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, procedures and policies
  • Prior understanding of Human Resources office administration requirements, database management and working in a close knit team environment is highly desirable
  • Must be able to distinguish urgent tasks and manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Be highly self-motivated and dynamic, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English, and legally entitled to live and work in SA
  • Completed Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources Management (or equivalent)
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable but not essential
  • Must possess a current, valid and unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

The Role

  • Be a novice with timely and accurate record keeping ofof Training files as well as HR/personnel files, HR documentation, relevant HR systems, policies and procedures as well as ensuring all HRIS databases are well maintained
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all personnel documentation at all times
  • Training co-ordination and administrative support for the training team including training scheduling, training resources, training compliance documentation, learner records and , monitoring training course attendance and funding, etc.
  • General day to day HR admin including HR systems updating and creation (manual and soft), report generation, file maintenance.
  • Supporting the HR Director in maintaining a vibrant and dynamic workplace. This will involve ad-hoc duties from time to time as directed by the HR Director.
  • Ensuring all training requests and records are administered and maintained accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Capture and record all training records, including data relating to attendance, completion etc
  • Receive and record employee induction and onboarding records
  • Assist with reference checking and booking Pre-Employment Medicals
  • Training co-ordination and administrative support for the training team including training scheduling, training resources, training compliance documentation, learner records and , monitoring training course attendance and funding, etc.
  • Coordinating the set up of meeting rooms for Interviews and onsite training requirements
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and contribute to the evaluation of service performance objectives
  • You may be required in some instances to work additional hours and perform other duties as requested by the HR team and HR Director.
