Our Learning division is made up of a passionate team that is committed to championing high quality training initiatives. As part of our portfolio offerings we provide a range of courses aimed at increasing skills and preparation for meaningful employment.

As an Employment and Career Facilitator, you will be able to train and support job seekers of all ages to help them improve their job readiness.

Responsibilities include: 

· Assess and address varied individual learning and skill needs, with a particular focus on job readiness and computer literacy

· Assist participants to understand the local job market, and the industries and opportunities that align with their skills, transferrable skills, interests and career goals

· Apply an encouraging approach to help overcome any challenges, and support individuals to achieve their career pathway plan objectives

· Collaboratively engage with relevant stakeholders to promote Employment and Career services to potential participants 

· Prepare for training sessions by completing pre-work that may include lesson planning, pre-assessment evaluation, and related administration

· Work collaboratively with the training team and Manager to deliver best practice training initiatives and maximise potential opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

· Proven experience and success in the employment, career, professional development or coaching sector

· Currently working towards, or earned qualifications in a subject that may include Employment Services, Career Development, Training and Assessment, Professional Development/Coaching or similar minimum Cert IV level qualifications

· An empathetic approach with a dedication to develop confidence in others 

· Knowledge or passion to train others to increase their computer skills to apply for employment opportunities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· A current valid Driver’s Licence, willingness to drive, and your own registered vehicle with a 4-5 star ANCAP safety rating
